Extended Stay Hotels Are a Great Temporary Housing Option

Posted on

There are many reasons that you may need to find temporary housing. It could be because you're waiting for a home purchase to be finalized. Or, you might be starting a job in a new location and haven't yet had the time to find a place to live. Another common reason for people to need temporary housing is that their home is being remodeled, or there is some type of issue that is making it impossible to stay there. Regardless of the reason, you should consider staying at an extended temporary housing.

No lease

If you choose to stay at an extended stay hotel, you'll benefit from not having to sign a lease. That means you can stay there as long as you want without being obligated to stay for a set amount of time. If a more solid housing situation comes up, you can simply leave the extended-stay hotel without penalty.

Furnished

Extended stay hotels come furnished with everything you need to live comfortably. When you rent an apartment, you will typically have to provide most of the furniture yourself. This can be an expensive and difficult process. Since you'll already have your bed, couches, tables, chairs, and even electronics, you'll be able to start living comfortably there right away.

Kitchen

Many extended stay hotel rooms come equipped with a kitchen. This is very important, as it will save you a lot of money being able to cook your meals on-site, rather than having to spend your money at restaurants. Many extended stay hotels will also provide you with the cookware and utensils that you require.

Hotel amenities

If you stay at an extended stay hotel, you will get to enjoy the amenities that the hotel offers. Whether it be a swimming pool, fitness center, or even a continental breakfast, you'll have access to everything that other hotel guests have access to.

Affordable

When you stay at an extended stay hotel, you will most likely pay weekly rather than nightly. It will cost you a lot less when you pay by the week, as there is often a discount for extended stay guests.

Convenient locations

Like most hotels, extended stay hotels are typically located in convenient areas, rather than in spots that are far away from civilization. For example, many of them will be located in the heart of major cities, close to many businesses and entertainment destinations. Otherwise, it would be hard for them to find guests to fill up their rooms.
